Tips for Voters Who are Ex-Offenders

Individuals who have been detained awaiting trial, but have not yet been convicted of a felony are eligible to vote. Individuals who have been convicted of a felony and are currently incarcerated are ineligible to vote. Voting rights are automatically restored upon release from prison. People on parole or probation can vote. Ex-offenders should re-register to vote.
