Rebecca Mimms is the Intake Coordinator and Litigation Support Assistant at the ACLU of Indiana. Becca has studied at The University of Alabama before continuing her degree at Indiana University-Purdue University, Indianapolis. Her time in the Deep South sparked her interest in social justice. Before joining the ACLU of Indiana, Becca worked at a high school on the Near East Side of Indianapolis that served a population in which 100% of the families were living under the poverty line. Becca focuses her endeavors on racial justice, criminal reform and educational equity. Outside of the office, Becca enjoys rescuing senior dogs and bully breeds (Champ, JoJo and Tasha) as well as being outdoors.
