Without much attention - Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) -  a program that protects nearly 800,000 Dreamers from deportation and provides them work authorization has come under immediate and existential attack. Ten Republican Attorneys General released a letter at the end of June threatening to sue the President if he doesn’t end DACA by September 5th, 2017. In response, the ACLU of Indiana will engage in advocacy efforts to raise awareness of the robust community of support for DACA recipients we have in the U.S. and in our state.

Stay tuned as we share stories of our Hoosier DACA recipients. If you’d like to get involved with the DACA/DREAM Campaign, please reach out to volunteer@aclu-in.org.
