This bill prohibits a law enforcement agency or law enforcement officers from engaging in racial profiling or conducting pretextual stops. We support HB 1053, which will further ensure that police uphold the U.S. Constitution’s core promises of equal protection and freedom from unreasonable searches and seizures for all.
