HB 1334: Absentee Voting

This bill adds unwarranted rules around sending out absentee ballot applications and matching numbers in the voter registration system. Adding these unnecessary rules will lead to confusion and greater difficulties for Hoosiers attempting to vote absentee and will complicate the work of county clerks. Ultimately it will increase the risk of disenfranchising Hoosiers who have the right to vote.  The more Hoosiers participate in the electoral process, the more our state and country flourish as a democracy. We owe it to Hoosiers to eliminate barriers to the ballot box.
