Now more than ever, it is important to remind your friends and neighbors that dissent and compassion are Hoosier values. The ACLU of Indiana is sparking conversations across the state about the principles and priorities that matter most to Hoosiers as we head toward the 2026 election. Through the guiding question — “What Hoosier values are you voting for in 2026?” — we are collecting stories, perspectives, and hopes from residents across Indiana's diverse communities.
This campaign is about listening first. From rural towns to urban centers, and across generations, backgrounds, and beliefs, we want to understand what values drive Hoosiers' vision for a fairer, freer, and more inclusive state. By sharing these voices, we aim to connect the issues people care about, like equality, freedom, fairness, and dignity, to the civic decisions that shape our future.
The Hoosier Values Campaign is part of the ACLU of Indiana's ongoing commitment to protect civil liberties, strengthen democracy, and ensure every Hoosier has a say in building the future of our state. Together, we can make the 2026 election a reflection of our shared values.
