Summary

Join the ACLU of Indiana for the second of a series of in-depth trainings on advocacy tactics. Learn the importance of story telling in building support in your advocacy efforts and how op-eds can build support in your community and with decision-makers. This month's theme is "Authentic Storytelling + Op-eds"

This training is designed for our business leader collective but is open to all interested advocates. This series runs bi-monthly, complementing our volunteer-centered Organizer Series.

These trainings are virtual and occur every other month. Each training will cover a different topic and will teach distinct advocacy skills. The topics to be covered are:

  • June: Convening + Relational Organizing
  • August: Communication Tactics: Phone Calls, Letter Writing, Postcard Parties and Petitions
  • October: Get Out the Vote
