New Horizons Rehabilitation, Inc. v. State of Indiana

After resolving a similar issue with the City of Lawrenceburg, New Horizons Rehabilitation was informed by the State that it had to submit detailed plans for the supported living home and meet state-imposed requirements.  None of these requirements are imposed on other single-family dwellings that house nuclear families. This case alleges that this violates federal laws and equal protection. The matter is being briefed on ACLU of Indiana preliminary injunction request.
