The ACLU of Indiana works to defend and advance the rights and freedoms of all Hoosiers. Through litigation, advocacy, public education, and community engagement, we challenge unconstitutional policies, protect civil liberties, and fight for a more just and equitable Indiana.
Our team is made up of people who care deeply about civil rights, democracy, and the power of collective action. We are attorneys, advocates, communicators, organizers, policy experts, and operations staff working together to protect the rights guaranteed by the Constitution and ensure those rights apply to everyone.
Thank you for your interest in joining the ACLU of Indiana. We encourage applicants from a wide range of backgrounds, experiences, and communities to apply, including people directly impacted by the issues we work on.
Thanks to an incredibly generous gift from Jeff and Alicia Rasley, the ACLU of Indiana is able to periodically offer paid summer internships for our legal, public engagement, and development departments. We also offer, on a case-by-case basis, legal externships which run concurrent with the academic semester.
While internship applications are currently closed, please check back periodically for more information.
