Bio

Camelia joined the ACLU's advocacy team in 2024, and prior to that Camelia worked for public interest organizations and nonprofits in Indianapolis and New York since 2016. Camelia is also enrolled part-time at IU McKinney School of Law where she is a member of Phi Delta Phi and the National Lawyers Guild, and she earned her undergraduate degree from Vassar College. When she is not doing advocacy work or studying, Camelia loves to climb and serves as a member of the Red River Gorge Climber's Coalition board's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion subcommittee.
