Privacy & Technology

The ACLU of Indiana knows that technological innovation has outpaced our privacy protections. We believe that there is a constitutional and fundamental right to privacy, and that it’s more important than ever with technological advances.

The authors of the Declaration of Independence outlined a bold vision for America: a nation in which all people would be free and equal. More than two hundred years later, it has yet to be achieved.

Religious freedom includes two complementary protections: the right to religious belief and expression and a guarantee that the government will not show preferential treatment to one religion over another.

Reproductive Freedom & Women's Rights

The decision to have a child or not belongs to each individual woman, her family, her doctor and no one else. But laws that make it difficult if not impossible for a woman to get an abortion if she needs one are increasing.
