Bio
Cody Thompson has a background in journalism, graduating from Indiana University in 2019. A significant portion of his career has been dedicated to identifying systemic issues, giving voice to marginalized communities and holding those with power accountable. After years spent in the media industry, Cody joined the ACLU of Indiana as a communications specialist dedicated to helping advance the organization’s mission: protecting the civil rights and liberties of all Hoosiers.
Outside of his professional interests, Cody enjoys photography, spending time outdoors with his dog, going to the gym, attending the renaissance festival and playing nerdy tabletop games with his wife and friends.
