After a hard-fought legislative session defending trans rights and fending off discriminatory anti-LGBTQ legislation, we can't wait to celebrate Pride with our LGBTQ+ friends and allies this summer!

ACLU of Indiana staff will be out in force, attending pride events across the state and celebrating our vibrant LGBTQ+ community. While we do attend many Pride fests, we may not be present at all of them. The below information is provided for the community. Look for the ACLU of Indiana banner at the pride festivals marked with an asterisk*.

The 2023 legislative session will go down in Indiana’s history as a session fraught with hate and misinformation. But it can also be remembered as a session where Hoosiers from every corner of our state showed up like never before to support their rights, and the rights of their neighbors.

Here is our breakdown of the 2023 legislative session, including how lawmakers voted on key bills affecting Hoosiers' rights.
