In Indiana, Black Hoosiers are more than 3.5 times more likely than their white neighbors to be arrested for marijuana possession. The Indiana General Assembly should pass marijuana legalization bills and prioritize racial justice and equity in reform efforts.
These bills would remove the barrier for students who attended high school in Indiana from paying in-state tuition at the state’s public colleges and universities simply because they are undocumented.
