The ACLU of Indiana filed a lawsuit against HEA 1041, which bans transgender girls from participating in school sports, on behalf of a 10-year-old girl who plays on her school’s all-girls softball team.
Boone County blocked a citizen from the County’s Facebook page after he commented on a post to indicate that he intended to vote for a challenger for Boone County Commissioner.
The law requires competency restoration services be provided to people who are found incompetent to stand trial, but this is not happening in some cases in Indiana county jails, leaving these individuals sitting in jails without access to necessary services.
