The Huntington Sheriff refused to allow ACLU of Indiana attorneys to have confidential in-person visits with prisoners who have sought our services. The ACLU of Indiana has received letters from people incarcerated in the Huntington County Jail who are seeking legal assistance.

Indiana BMV to Translate Driver’s Manual to Arabic, Burmese, Chin, and Mandarin Following ACLU Lawsuit
The Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles has agreed to translate the Driver’s Manual into Arabic, Burmese, Chin, and Mandarin by March of 2021, in a settlement that resolves a lawsuit filed by the American Civil Liberties Union of Indiana in November 2018.
