This is a case challenging the refusal of a chaplain at the Correctional Industrial Facility to permit the plaintiff to marry her inmate-fiancé. After the case was filed in October 2016, the DOC approved the marriage, and our claim for damages is proceeding.

Kemp v. Commissioner

This is an action by two Jewish prisoners who were at a facility that provided both a kosher diet and services. The prisoners were transferred to another institution with a kitchen the Indiana Department of Corrections (DOC) characterizes as kosher so they could continue their kosher diets.
